What You Will Do:

As the Scheduling Operations Manager, you will be directly involved with the logistics and implementation of all NatureBridge Yosemite programs. You will collect and share accurate program information and be the primary steward for complex program details, and all internal scheduling. This is a full time, year-round exempt position. The anticipated start date is no later than August 15, 2024.

This position takes place at our campus in Yosemite National Park (El Portal, CA) and cannot be performed remotely.

Your primary job will be to:

Scheduling

  • Create and update the weekly staffing schedule through Salesforce CRM, and ensure all logistical details are accurate and promptly communicated to staff.
  • Manages scheduling requests from Educators
  • Audits the payroll final schedule

Communications

  • Prepares and sends invoices 
  • Communicates with Group Coordinators to set requirements and expectations for program logistics.
  • Ensure smooth program implementation by refining, developing, communicating and supporting logistics systems.
  • Manage online registration system, and internal and external program resources

Administrative 

  • Hire, train, and supervise 2-3 Site Managers at the National Environmental Science Center (NESC).
  • Participate in monthly Yosemite Management Team meetings. 
  • Update and steward the Yosemite Operations and Program Logistics Manual.

Risk Management

  • Work closely with Campus and National Director of Risk Management on a case by case basis and promote implementation of Risk Management policies.
  • Model appropriate risk management behavior and decision-making
  • Address risk management concerns with clients/vendors and coordinate necessary modifications with associated staff. 
  • Perform duties of the NESC Site Manager as needed
  • Act as the manager on call on a rotating basis

Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor, including occasional weekend work.

Compensation:

  • $49,000-51,000 annually

Who You Are:

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Relevant administrative, operations or educational experience.
  • Organized and able to balance competing logistics between programs while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience in a management or supervisory role; able to effectively support and train successful teams
  • Written and verbal communication and customer service skills. Able to communicate complicated logistical information to multiple groups
  • Capable of working as part of a collaborative team; maintains positive working relationships with staff and guests.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion in the workplace.   • Strong problem-solving skills; able to make decisions independently while meeting the needs of multiple stakeholders  
  • Demonstrated office experience, ability to manage and communicate information quickly and accurately
  • Experience with Google Suite of apps (Calendar, Gmail, Sheets and Docs) and database management or CRMs. Internet and e-mail experience required
  • Valid driver’s license
