About Eating Disorders Queensland (EDQ)
EDQ is a state-wide, community-based, not-for-profit organisation. We support individuals living with eating disorders, their carers, loved ones, and key support people. Our services include therapeutic, psychosocial, and lived-experience support, as well as coaching and community connection for carers. Reporting Relationships
- This position reports to the Operations Manager.
- With delegations from the Practice Administrator
- Funding: All positions at EDQ are conditional on recurrent funding from our funding bodies.
Responsibilities
General Operational Support: Assist the Operations Manager with tasks including:
- Collaborating with the Public Health Team.
- Documenting and developing processes and procedures.
- Supporting Employment Hero functionality and rostering.
- Auditing and maintaining client management systems (Csnet, Clinico, Readycase).
- Providing support to the Research Officer during reporting periods to funding bodies.
- Assisting the Operations Manager during accreditations for National Mental Health Standards and NDIS.
Administrative Support: Provide timely support in various tasks, such as:
- Organising elements of EDQ’s public health events.
- Ensuring premises maintenance for a safe and welcoming environment.
- Coordinating promotional supplies and group resources.
- Assisting with email campaigns, telehealth setup, and distribution systems.
- Supporting the Medicare fee-for-service arm.
- Assisting the Finance Officer with invoice processing and coding.
Program Support: Aid EDQ practitioners, lived experience workers, and coaches by:
- Coordinating group RSVPs and logistics.
- Setting up spaces for groups, including procuring resources and food.
- Managing volunteer rosters for cooking and general volunteer programs.
- Entering basic client data into the client management system.
Key Selection Criteria (Address Criteria in application)
- Relevant qualifications in Operational and Administrative support.
- Experience in similar roles, particularly in not-for-profit or allied health settings.
- Proficiency in client management systems (e.g., Csnet).
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong time and task management skills.
- Collaborative work style with strong support skills.
- Effective communication by fostering transparency and kindness.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
