What you’ll need

• Education: Master´s degree in economics, business administration, finance, engineering or similar studies. Certification in Project Management is desirable.
• Experience: At least two years of relevant professional experience, preferably in administration of projects financed by multilateral development institutions or other external donors. Knowledge of national procurement policies, norms or practices and experience in writing reports is a plus.
• Languages: Proficiency in English and Spanish, spoken and written, is required.

Requirements

• Citizenship: You are either a citizen of Belize or a citizen of one of our 48-member countries with residency or legal permit to work in Belize.
• Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.

Type of contract and duration

National staff contract, 36 months initially, renewable upon mutual agreement.
