The Organization

All Hands Ecology (formerly Audubon Canyon Ranch) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit land-based conservation organization founded in 1962 to protect sensitive wildlife habitat. Today we are guardians of a system of nature preserves spanning 5,000 acres across Marin and Sonoma counties. Through the integration of education, science, and collaborative stewardship, our 50+ staff work to ensure Northern California’s biodiversity endures for new generations of nature lovers from all communities and backgrounds.

The Opportunity

All Hands Ecology is seeking an Operations & Systems Coordinator to play a key role in advancing our mission of connecting nature, people, and science for a more resilient world by working together to create a world where the diversity of life thrives, and nature benefits all. This work is rooted in healing our relationship with the land and each other, and it depends on strong internal systems, thoughtful coordination, and shared responsibility. 

Working with a team of 50 staff, this position provides vital administrative and systems support across Human Resources, IT, Operations, and Programs. The coordinator will support the people, programs, and processes that make collaborative land stewardship possible while also helping create and improve systems that strengthen the organization’s effectiveness and resilience into the future. 

This role requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, and a high degree of confidentiality in managing sensitive information. The ideal candidate is collaborative, resourceful, and committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ) as core values in both workplace culture and environmental stewardship.

Location & Schedule: The position is based in Glen Ellen, Californianot a remote or hybrid position.

Schedule: 80%-time, 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Thursday
