This is a a permanent, full-time vacacny and reports to the Team Leader.JOB PURPOSETo carry out the refurbishment of Aviation First Aid/Medical Kits.Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Checking and replenishing component parts for First Aid Kits when found to be used / missing /out of date.
  • Making new kits for Aircraft
  • Replacing Broken Kits
  • Ensuring correct uses of stock
  • Ensuring expiry dates / batch numbers used are correct
  • Enabling corrective action in time
  • Ensuring high standards of performance and avoiding mistakes
  • Sealing Kits
  • Sealing medicines before use.
  • Printing paracetamol forms.
  • Checking and replenishing component parts for Aircraft Medical kits
  • Refurbishing Medical kits
  • Processing new orders
  • Transferring stock using the Quantum computer system
  • Making packs (eg Syringe packs)
  • Packing medicines for the Qualified Person to sign off.
  • Checking colleagues’ work
  • Drug recall (as required)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Numerate and literate – minimum GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English (desired)

Competencies:

  • Enjoys working as part of a team; positive and enthusiastic and motivated
  • Able to accurately follow written and verbal guidance, which requires a good level of written and spoken english
  • Able to interpret and comply with health, safety, quality and compliance processes
  • Works to a high standard of quality, control and delivery
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Disciplined, organised, able to work under pressure, at speed, with excellent attention to detail
