Physical Requirements Ability to stand or sit for periods of time, occasional lifting of boxes up to 25 pounds.
Shift Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
Job Summary UK Advanced Eye Care is seeking an Optician to join our team. Our patients expect exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
The Optician at UK Advanced Eye Care is expected to be have knowledge of frames, materials for lenses, and various options for glasses or contacts and be able to communicate effectively to the patients. Knowledge of how to take pupillary measurements and segment heights is critical.
The ability to communicate effectively in a pleasant manner with patients and customers to provide excellent customer service is of utmost importance. Technical skills in repair of glasses and manufacture of lenses is required. This position will use AccuityLogic software to maintain orders and inventory of frames.
