Job Category: Systems ArchitectureJob Description:We are looking for an experienced Oracle PaaS Solution Architect with a strong understanding of APEX, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Integration to join a collaborative and progressive Oracle practice.This role is critical in helping to shape the Strategy of our PaaS service offerings, with the responsibility of designing, developing, and implementing robust, scalable, and intelligent business applications that leverage the full power of the Oracle ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, driving innovation through the strategic application of PaaS services such as APEX and AI technologies.The ideal person will have good communication skills to manage and lead a large design team, be at the forefront in terms of Oracle Cloud and Application knowledge and have an established record of success delivering complex solutions and strategies to senior stakeholders and customers. You will be required to demonstrate high-level business and commercial acumen and be able to understand our customers and stakeholder’s ultimate goal. Working from a UK location, the right candidate will bring energy and inspiration to their team, continually striving for operational excellence and near perfect execution.Your transferable skills and experience:Solution Design & Architecture:Lead the architectural design and development of complex Oracle APEX applications, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and design patterns for APEX, AI and Integration development.Integrate AI/ML capabilities into APEX applications, designing solutions for data ingestion, model deployment and visualization within the APEX framework.Evaluate and recommend appropriate Oracle technologies and third-party tools to meet solution requirements, with a focus on APEX, Oracle Database, Oracle Integration Cloud and AI services (e.g., OCI AI Services, Oracle Machine Learning).Technical Leadership & Guidance:Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development teams on APEX and AI best practices.Conduct technical reviews of designs and code to ensure adherence to architectural standards and quality.Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in Oracle APEX, AI/ML, Integration and cloud technologies.Stakeholder Collaboration:Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and project managers to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.Present complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle APEX, AI and Integration within the organization.Experience of Pre-sales and show ability to communicate with different levels within an Organisation from C-Level downInnovation & Strategy:Identify opportunities for leveraging PaaS services to solve business challenges, improve processes, and create new value propositions.Contribute to the strategic roadmap for Oracle technology adoption and AI integration within the enterprise.Develop proofs-of-concept (POCs) for new technologies and innovative solutions.Recruitment process:The recruitment process consists of two stages of interviewsFor further guidance and support on the Internal Application process, please reach out to the aligned recruiter and or hiring manager available on the requisition as seen on ORC (Oracle Recruitment Cloud) .
