Overview
Touro College of Dental Medicine invites applications for part-time (1-2 days/week) academic and clinical track positions in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications. The positions will be available Jan. 2, 2024 and will remain open until filled. The Search Committee is especially interested in candidates who, through their clinical experience, research activity, academic teaching and/or community service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of Touro’s academic community. Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Predoctoral preclinical didactic instruction
- Clinical supervision of patient care in the third and fourth-year comprehensive care programs
- Teaching Associated administrative responsibilities
- Committee membership and scholarly activity
- Intramural faculty practice opportunities will also be available.
Qualifications
Education/ Experience
- Doctor of Dental Medicine in Dental Surgery required.
- Dental License Registration required.
- DEA Number required.
- CPR Certification required.
- Certificate of training from an ADA-accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program.
- ABOMS certification or eligibility.
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
- General administrative duties required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, & Outlook.
- Strong attention to details required.
- Effectively manage and organize daily tasks, independently and with a team, while balancing multiple projects and meeting deadlines required.
- Accuracy and productivity in completing tasks required.
- A high degree of interpersonal competency: professionalism, diplomacy, judgement and discretion required.
- Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty, and colleagues.
- Ability to solve complex problems and meet deadlines required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal) required.
Physical Demands
- Extensive Use of Computers
- Extensive time sitting and standing
- Able to lift up to 5 lbs.

Maximum Salary
USD $75,000.00/Yr.
Minimum Salary
USD $60,000.00/Yr.
