We are on the lookout for someone to take on the role of Organisational Development Specialist in our dynamic, high performing team. In this role you will work on broad OD, HR and people and culture programs, projects and initiatives to help us to build a people focused experience of ‘moments that matter’. The role has a lot of variety – from coaching and mentoring to staff surveys, reward and recognition as well as change management – no two days will be the same. As a team, we provide support and development opportunities to expand your experience, which includes working closely with our exceptional Senior OD and Employee Experience Specialists. We are looking for a problem solver, a collaborator and someone who is tech-savvy and knows their way around data.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who:
- Has relevant experience in OD, L&D, HR or people and culture, preferably with relevant qualifications (such as TAE or Prosci Change Management).
- Has demonstrated experience supporting and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to deliver organisational development and talent management initiatives.
- Likes to work both independently and as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
- Uses data and benchmarking to support solutions.
- Has strong technology skills, a continuous improvement mindset and excellent communication skills.
This Fixed Term position is full time at a Higher Education Worker (HEW) 7 Level until June 2025 with potential for extension and will be based at Callaghan Campus (Awabakal and Worimi land).

About the Unit
This role sits within the Human Resource Services (HRS) unit within the Resources Division. Our focus is on delivering a broad range of people services, strategies and projects across all areas of the University. As a member of the progressive People Experience team within HRS, you will engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders and play an important role in the design and delivery of programs, projects and initiatives that have broad reach and impact for our entire University community.
