Tiko Africa seeks to engage qualified consultants to assess the potential for Outcomes-Based Financing (OBF) for sexual and reproductive health (SRH) programs in South Africa.

Consultant Responsibilities
- Conduct a thorough assessment of the potential for OBF in SRH programs, focusing on stakeholder engagement and financing mechanisms.
- Literature Review: Review existing literature and case studies on OBF in SRH and related sectors to identify best practices, challenges, and opportunities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and map key stakeholders involved in SRH programs and financing mechanisms.
- Survey Development: Design and distribute a stakeholder survey to assess interest and readiness for OBF in SRH programs.
- Qualitative Research: Conduct key informant in-depth interviews and focus group discussions to gather insights from stakeholders regarding the potential for OBF implementation.
- Final Reporting: Compile findings into a comprehensive report summarizing insights from the literature review, stakeholder survey, and qualitative research, including recommendations for OBF in SRH programs.
Outcomes-Based Financing (OBF) Assessment Deliverables:
- Literature Review Report: A review of relevant literature and case studies on OBF mechanisms in SRH and other sectors.
- Stakeholder Mapping Document: A detailed mapping of key stakeholders involved in SRH programs and financing.
- Survey Analysis Report: A report summarizing findings from the stakeholder survey on OBF readiness and interest.
- Qualitative Research Report: A summary of key-in depth informant interviews and focus group discussions with stakeholders, including conclusions and recommendations for implementing OBF in SRH programs.
