Job description
As the Service Coordinator for our newly established Outside School Hours Care program at St Lukes Primary, you will oversee a small team of Educators to deliver After School and Vacation Care programs that support the wider community and provide high quality education and care to children.
Operating the program from a dedicated space, you will initially work Monday to Friday from 2.30pm – 6.00pm + 3 hours per week additional planning / leadership time as you lead both the operational requirements and time spent. As you grow the service through your community engagement, your hours and team will grow to accommodate the need.
Working to one of the National or Victorian early learning frameworks, you will:
- Develop an educational program that meets the interests and abilities of each child
- Drive enrolments and build the program to include other services that meet community needs
- Create a quality and diverse educational program that sees every child actively participate

In addition to receiving a salary commencing at $32.25 / hour and superannuation, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and an ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits. You’ll also bring with you:
- Approved Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority qualification – please check position description for your qualification
- Experience gained in Early Childhood
- Strong organisation and planning skills, including high attention to detail
