My client is a leading manufacturer of vessels and pipework to the aviation industry with over 20 years of continuous growth culminating in over 16000 global customers and an annual turnover north of 10 million pounds. They are looking to bring onboard a number of skilled and experienced Paint Technicians to bolster their team in Morecambe. The ideal candidate will come from a previous Paint preparation and spraying background with experience working with Steel and Aluminium products, a proficiency in both Shotblasting and Air assisted painting methods and an understanding of industry Health and safety standards.You will need to be based within a commutable distance of Morecambe for this role.Paint Technician Job Overview

• Preparing large steel constructions for painting
• Painting large steel structures and maximising the quality of the final finish
• Shotblasting imperfect finished products to re-prepare for the painting process
• Working with air assisted painting systems
• Self-inspection of finished products

Paint Technician Job Requirements

• Previous experience in the preparation and painting of large commercial steel constructions
• Experience working within a commercial paint shop environment
• Knowledge of air assisted paint systems
• An ability to demonstrate a high level of quality resulting in a consistent finish
• Based within a commutable distance of Morecambe

Paint Technician Salary & Benefits

• £14.00 – £16.00 per hour DOE
• Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00 (42.5 hour’s week)
• Overtime available
• 31 days holiday inclusive of public holidays
