The war in Palestine has shocked the world and we are taking action. We are looking for a wide variety of positions to fill the needs of a new humanitarian response team.
Key activities in your role will include
ACF is developing a roster of experienced humanitarian workers ready to be deployed for ad-hoc support inside the Gaza Strip (through the Rafah crossing, if conditions allow). These positions include:
• Senior Operations Manager (e.g. Head of base or deputy head of base profiles, experience in security, supply chain, management etc.)
• Senior Technical Coordinator (WASH or FSL background compulsory)
• Senior Logistics Manager
• HR Manager
• Nutrition Manager
• Senior Finance Manager
• MHPSS Coordinator (Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Coordinator)
• Senior Security Manager

The positions will be based inside the Gaza Strip if entry of international staff allows.
Do you meet the profile required criteria?
- Experience in complex emergency context, high volatile contexts and under strict security constraints.
- Strong understanding of the humanitarian emergency operational context, including the humanitarian system, donors, security, and program management.
- Proven ability to adapt and be resilient to changing context.
- Expertise in humanitarian crises andknowledge of humanitarian and emergency actors, coordination structures, roles and responsibilities.
- Knowledge or training in engineering, agricultural studies, environmental science, international development, sociology, political science, logistics, finance, HR, psychology, psychiatry nutrition or international relations- depending on the positions.
- Strong analytical, coordination and organisational skills. Strong experience in gender and disability mainstreaming. Field experience would be an asset.
- English (mandatory working language, spoken, read and written); Arabic would be an asset.
- As part of the prevention AAH Spain promotes within the framework of our Safeguarding policy*, candidates must complete a free course on Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse at this link. The certificate issue by the on-line platform must be sent with the rest of documents.
Our remuneration package:
We offer immediate incorporation to a dynamic international network with the following remuneration package:
- Short- term contract
- Salary: according to Action Against Hunger salary scale and according to candidate’s previous experience.
- Expatriate insurance (health, life, repatriation, travel, etc.)
- Difficult context allowance.
- Break flights/trips to defined area.
- Yearly holiday return flight ticket.
- Accommodation and housing expenses (in shared guest house)
- Travel costs to and from the mission.
- 25 working days of paid leave per year.
