Job Summary & Key Responsibilities A part-time academic is required to teach HIST 2205/CANA 2050/INDG 2050, Historical Issues in Indigenous Studies, in the winter 2023-2024 academic year (January to April 2024).
Although this class is currently scheduled to be held in person (Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:35 to 9:55), moving to on-line delivery will be considered depending on instructor availability.
Qualifications/Requirements of Position Candidates should possess, or be working towards a PhD in History or related field. Research experience in Indigenous studies is preferred. Preference will be given to indigenous candidates (www.dal.ca/hiringfordiversity ).

All offers of employment as a Part-Time Academic are conditional upon sufficient student enrolment in the course and approval by the University.
Salary Range/Pay Rate Per CUPE Collective Agreement
