Job Summary & Key Responsibilities SOSA 3181.03 Special Topics – Visual Culture, Online-Asynchronous (SUMMER (A1): 06-MAY-2024 – 28-MAY-2024)
The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test preparation, evaluation and electronic submission of grades. The instructor is required to be available two hours per week for consultation with students. The instructor reports to the Chair of the Department.
Qualifications/Requirements of Position Applicants must possess a PhD in Social Anthropology or Sociology (or be near completion), and have previous University level teaching experience directly in the subject area.

Salary Range/Pay Rate Per CUPE Collective Agreement
Additional Information All offers of employment as a Part-Time Academic are conditional upon sufficient student enrolment in the course and approval by the University.
