JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The HUB-Robeson Center is seeking to hire Penn State students to fill part-time positions on its Events Support Staff. These positions are responsible for supporting the production needs of events in the HUB-Robeson Center and Schwab Auditorium. Event Support Staff members are trained to perform a variety of live-event tasks including, but not limited to: lighting design, instrument focus, and operation, setting up and operation of sound systems, assembling scenic elements, operation of stage equipment, equipment maintenance, ushering and front-of-house management, technical stage management, and customer service. The position requires physical labor, the ability to follow directions, and desire to work as part of a team.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
