JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The McCourtney Institute for Democracy is hiring a research assistant for the Mood of the Nation Poll. Employees will read open-ended poll responses and classify them for later analysis.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Applicants should be available to work in Pond Lab at least 3 to 5 hours per week, with more hours when new poll results come in. There are no set hours.
• No experience or particular skills are required, but you must be willing to learn new software and to work collaboratively with other student research assistants.
• Ability to work over the summer a plus.
