JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Harrisburg, a member of the NCAA Division III, is accepting applications for a part-time coach for the sport of Men’s & Women’s Track & Field with the Department of Athletics.

Job Duties

• This part time opening reports to the Director of Athletics and is responsible for the operation of the NCAA Division III varsity intercollegiate men’s & women’s track & field program, including all aspects of coaching, recruiting, budgeting, scheduling, and managing the intercollegiate program within the policies, and principles of Penn State University and the NCAA.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Employment with the University for this job will require successful completion of the Pennsylvania (PA) Publicly Available Clearances: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and the FBI Criminal History Background Check.     

• May require the ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
