JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State is looking to hire a Map Wall Student Summer Helper (Part-Time)!

We are looking for enthusiastic students to join us in supporting the Penn State Meteo Map Wall  through computer programming tasks. This part-time position offers approximately 15-25 hours per week. Your responsibilities will include developing scripts for data acquisition, crafting weather maps for display on the weather center map wall and website, and designing web pages to showcase weather data. This experience offers significant flexibility to align with your individual interests and career aspirations. Applicants should possess a strong foundation in Python and Linux systems, with a willingness to learn basic JavaScript and HTML.
