EcoPath Leaders will be responsible for curriculum implementation, facilitating virtual activities, leading participants in sessions , and working with them both individually and in small groups.
Our new EcoPath College Connection program will take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays for 3 weeks this spring and fall. During the first week, there will be one Monday meeting serving as an orientation day for students. Mentors for the program will have a training period a week prior to the first cohort and a closing period the week after the second cohort. Applicants must be at least 21 years and be eligible to work in the United States.

Each cohort serves a different timezone so please be aware before of time commitments!
Cohort 1 – Serving predominantly West coast takes place on March 3rd-March 22nd on Wednesdays (5:30pm-7pm PST) and Saturdays (9am -2pm PST).
Cohort 2 – Serving predominantly East coast takes place on March 31st-April 19th on Wednesdays( 5:30pm -7pm EST) and Saturdays (9am -2pm EST).

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Engage with MobilizeGreen staff and and partners to implement the EcoPath curriculum
- Lead the participants including development of tailored and interactive curriculum
- Facilitate curriculum with participants (specifically content related to college preparation, networking, building resumes, time management, note taking/study skills, managing mental health in college, self care, etc.)
- Communicate effectively with Program Coordinator and Program Assistants
- Coordinate sessions with others including partners and panel participants
- Organize and store program materials digitally as directed by Program Coordinator
- Other duties as specified
Experience and Qualifications:
- At least 2 years out of high school. Current college students and recent college grads preferred.
- Must be 21 or older.
- 2-3 seasons leading youth in formal or informal education, camp, or team setting.
- Experience in environmental education and outdoor leadership skills.
- Experience working virtually, including ability to use Zoom, Discord, Cisco’s WebEx, and G-Suite.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage youth in programming.
- Dedicated commitment to making the outdoors accessible to underrepresented youth.
- Has knowledge and experience with cultural competency that can be applied to working with diverse youth including BIPOC and LGBTQ youth.
- Experience working with tribes and or tribal youth preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and with others collaboratively on projects.
- Deep interest in environment/natural resource management.
- Self-motivated, organized, and proactive.
