A job with Student Life Marketing provides students the opportunity to work in an agency-like atmosphere where creative problem-solving and collaboration with colleagues lead to the development of effective strategies to build awareness, engagement, and action from target audiences. All Student Life Marketing staff will contribute to the creation, implementation, and assessment of various marketing and communications initiatives.
The majority of the videos created by the Summer Multimedia Videographer are shot and edited vertically for Instagram Reels. The Multimedia Videographer is someone with a creative eye, who in this position will cover everything from major university events to departmental functions and marketing campaign shoots. In addition to social media videos/Reels, additional video projects may include short-form documentaries and tours.

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
Desired start date is May 6, 2024. The student in this role may be asked to continue working into the 2024-25 academic year.
