UITS ENTERPRISE SYSTEMS (UA-ES-IUBLA)


The Enterprise Experience team in University Information Technology Services (UITS) at Indiana University encompasses a team-based work environment in which we build, support, and maintain apps, web spaces, and tools that shape the user experience of IU’s digital campus.

 

 


This role is responsible for making content updates on campus gateway websites, including northwest.iu.edu, southbend.iu.edu, kokomo.iu.edu, east.iu.edu, columbus.iu.edu, southeast.iu.edu, and associated websites. It is best suited for a person with writing/editing experience who wants to gain experience in and exposure to the technical space.

Department Specific Responsibilities

  • Makes content updates to campus gateway websites via the Cascade CMS.
  • Uses the ServiceNow ticketing system to manage and track requested updates to campus gateway websites.
  • Consults with the experience architect, Campus Gateway team, and content stakeholders on requested updates as needed to ensure updates are accurate and timely.
  • Adheres to the university’s digital accessibility standards for all updates.

Required

  • Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University

  • Writing and/or editing experience, including academic work
  • Proficient communication skills
  • Ability to use a word-processing interface
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism

  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization
  • Cascade CMS or other CMS experience preferred


This role requires the ability to effectively communicate with the development team, experience architect, and content stakeholders and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
