Who we are?
IDA is an international independent non-governmental organization providing medical and humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflicts, natural disasters and epidemics regardless of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.
IDA was founded in 2012 by Syrian doctors from Aleppo in response to the healthcare and humanitarian crisis in Syria.
IDA Syria is the main healthcare provider in the Northern Aleppo/Syria area, working closely with 500,000 IDPs and 700,000 host community through 20 healthcare facility and other health and nutrition projects
During last year, IDA has provided 1.2 million services in Heath, Nutrition, WaSH and Camp Management
Responsibilities:

Position Overview:
The Partnership Senior Officer will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the IDA’s partnership strategy. The role will work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders. The position will support the Partnerships coordinator in achieving the unit objectives, and other team members when needed.
Key responsibilities:
Stakeholders mapping and Representation:

Participate in the coordination platforms and engage with coordination bodies;

Represent IDA externally with the partners and potential donors, as requested by the direct manager.

support the mapping process through online search and gather the required information, and support in exploring new partnerships (funding, coordination, research institutes, private sector, etc.), update partnership mapping.

Partnerships Unit Support:

Agreement Review: support the agreement review process and ensure proper agreement review, and get it signed by the General Director.

Support in preparing documents that might be required by the partners and donors; updated profile, updated project or program profile and others.

Due Diligence: facilitate the DD internally and follow up with different team members in IDA to ensure that they submit their inputs on time.

Support the concept notes/proposals drafting processes as needed.

Knowledge Management and internal support:

Maintain archiving system for IDA’s agreements, MoUs, SoPs, Protocols, Due Diligence Documents, contact list and Capacity Assessment requirements, Audit Reports, etc.

Work closely and coordinate with other departments and provide the needed support
Qualifications:
Generic professional competencies for this position:
- Postgraduate in international relations, Social Sciences, project management, and other relevant fields;
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in the development/humanitarian sector/with INGOs and Institutional Donors/partnership-based programming and community-based programming;
- Experience working in the Syria Response and/or a strong demonstrated understanding of the country’s context and that of the wider Syria crisis;
- Experience in proposal development;
- Experience in field-level representation with key stakeholders and coordination with other partners and donors;
- Strong interpersonal skills, analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to think and plan strategically;
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet multiple deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, format, presentation, and readability of documents;
- Excellent report writing skills;
- Fluency in English, Arabic language knowledge is mandatory.
Context/Specific skills, knowledge and experience:
- Knowledge of the context in North-West of Syria
- Good standing and reputation in the community
- Experience in working with local partners;
- Experience in conducting assessments and monitoring activities;
