Partnerships Consultant

Education Cannot Wait (ECW) is a fund dedicated to education in emergencies and protracted crises. It was established in 2016 during the World Humanitarian Summit by international humanitarian and development aid organizations, along with public and private donors, to help reposition education as a priority on the humanitarian agenda, usher in a more collaborative approach among actors on the ground and foster additional funding to ensure that every crisis-affected child and young person is in school and learning. The functions of Partnership, Advocacy and fundraising are core to the sustainability of ECW. The advertised position seeks to bring on board a consultant that can support the partnership team systemize and professionalize critical aspects of the team’s work as the fund evolves.
To professionalize the coordination approach for the Partnerships team. The main outcome for this constancy is to create a more systematic approach to 1) monitoring and supporting specific partnerships grants, 2) coordination and outreach, 3) Assess the quality of deliverables from external consultants working on relevant donor markets, and 4) support attract new donor partners to ECW using expert networks and outreach.
