What we are looking for

Join UNICEF Australia as a Partnerships Manager reporting to the Head of Philanthropy. We are looking for a strategic, collaborative, enthusiastic and driven individual with experience working on high value long term partnerships and a passion for UNICEF Australia’s impact on children’s lives around the world.

Your day will include

  • Nurture, manage and grow an exciting portfolio of existing INGO partnerships through effective relationship management
  • Develop strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward new high value INGO partnerships
  • Collaborate with UNICEF Australia’s program, fundraising and communications teams to enable effective partnerships delivery
  • Collaborate with the UNICEF global INGO partnerships teams and other UNICEF National Committees to share knowledge and leverage global resources for enhanced relationship management and prospecting efforts

We would like you to have the following skills and experience

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification or equivalent working experience
  • Experience working in the International Aid and Development sector
  • A minimum 5 years’ experience in Philanthropy/Major Donor/Trust & Foundation/Corporate Fundraising at Management level
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills with a natural talent for relationship building
  • Deep technical knowledge to create compelling proposals and proficiency in high level development concepts
  • Familiarity with professional fundraising standards, practices, and regulatory compliance
  • Passionate and energetic team player with a genuine interest in contributing to the international aid and development sector
