Your Opportunity

Join us at the Team Lead of our national Partnerships Team, where your expertise will be instrumental in shaping and executing our partnerships strategy and business plan. This is a critical position, responsible for guiding a team of skilled Partnerships Managers dedicated to acquiring and retaining major gifts, corporate partnerships, and contributions from trusts and foundations. Your primary focus will be driving revenue growth and expanding our donor pipeline in alignment with our ambitious fundraising growth strategy.

In this role, you will work closely with the National Manager, Partnerships and Philanthropy Leadership Team and Partnerships Managers to craft the annual business plan, support the execution of state-specific growth strategies, and develop targeted channel tactics. Your insights will also be crucial in shaping product and portfolio strategies, helping to drive sustainable growth across our fundraising efforts.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop and track pipeline targets in line with partnerships strategy and business plan.
  • Ensure acquisition, cultivation and stewardship tactical plans are developed and executed.
  • Ensure any fundraising and other regulations are followed.
  • Develop the Partnerships annual business plan in collaboration with National Manager and Partnerships Managers.
  • Plan and deliver channel strategies for growth with support from Partnerships Managers and Donor Services Team.
  • Provide input into the development of product and portfolio strategies with Donor Services Manager.
  • Lead and coach a high-performing team.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs for team members through regular performance meetings.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal relationships with key stakeholders in enabling functions as well as service delivery.
  • Manage relationships with agencies and consultants including contract management, regular reviews and risk escalation.
  • Support pipeline growth with pitch and proposal development, attending prospecting or other donor meetings.

Requirements for Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Sales or Fundraising leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in sales or business development roles and strong business acumen, commercially focused with a competitive mindset, along with achieving targets within set time-frames and with limited resources.
  • Proven experience leading, building and managing high performance, accountable marketing teams.
  • Experience in fundraising particularly in philanthropy, corporate partnerships and/or grants management highly desired.
  • Ability to develop strong, effective, and consultative relationships with key stakeholders.
