Role: Patch Management Analyst
Location: London, UK
Duration: 1 YearJob Descriptions: Position SummaryResponsible for overseeing the patch management process. That is, the identification of patching vulnerabilities in the network and solutions to manage those vulnerabilities.

• Undertake analysis of current patch level (based on vulnerability scanning) and develop plans for patching entire infrastructure to highest stable patch level.
• Oversee the execution of that patching plan.

Design and implement new, repeatable patch management processes for the Operations function. This includes both regular, planned patching (e.g. Patch Tuesday) and emergency patches (e.g. WannaCry). The design will include:

• Roles and responsivities (RACI)
• Testing
• Acceptance criteria
• Exceptions

Facilitate co-ordination between the multiple parties involved in the patching process, to achieve desired outcomes.Identify interdependencies and fill the Security Assets Management Platform.Principal Duties
Functional Knowledge
Minimum experience 3+ yrs SecuritySpecific technical knowledge
Excellent understanding of Vulnerability Management processes (especially patch management).
Ability to co-ordinate with multiple teams, including stakeholders in other geographies. In particular, experience working with Infrastructure and IT service management functions.
Experience with outsourced IT and Security provision in offshore locations.
Process design and documentation skills (BPMNv2 notation preferred).
