The Patrol Supervisor of Campus Safety is the patrol supervisor of Campus Safety Officers who perform their daily duties generally between 7:00 PM – 3:00 AM. The Patrol Supervisor supervises a staff of approximately twenty safety officers. Campus Safety is a 24-hour coverage campus and the  Patrol Supervisor is responsible for supervising the managing of campus security, safety operations, crime prevention, alarm/security systems, and assuring compliance with current laws and regulations as they pertain to the functions and activities of the campus department.

This is a nonexempt position with a pay range of $25.00 – $28.00 per hour. 

Responsibilities:

• Supervision of Patrol Officers and Dispatchers for two separate shifts (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM & 11:00 PM -7:00 AM)
• Support Assistant Director of Training in fulfilling department objectives and goals
• Assist with patrol duties
• Complete scheduling and patrol coverage
• Review and correct patrol officers’ reports
• Provide department training
• Provide student staff training
• Respond to emergencies
• Assist with annual emergency drill planning
• Coordinate security coverage for large events
• Coordinate on campus event/party ensuring compliance with procedures
• Assist with Event Staff training
• Other duties as assigned
