Fighting Chance are on the lookout for an experienced Payroll Administrator to support the business, its social enterprises and their employees. This is a hands-on role encompassing a range of duties within the payroll function. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the key areas of accountability will include:
- Payroll Processing
- Contract Administration
- Compliance and Reporting
- Record Keeping
The successful candidate will be an ambitious individual with previous experience in Payroll, have meticulous attention to detail, and strong organisational skills.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Diploma or Certificate IV in Payroll Administration or related field is advantageous
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
- Proficiency in payroll and finance software (Xero, Employment Hero)
- Experience dealing with highly confidential information
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work
- and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Creative approach to problem solving
- Outstanding organisational skills and ability to work in a highly dynamic environment
- with competing priorities
- A passion for (and/or experience with) working with people with disability
- A proactive work ethic and willingness to jump in, collaborate, and get any job done
- Ability to work autonomously and self-motivate
- Availability and willingness to work on weekends and evenings on occasion
- Possess or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working with Children Check.
- Proof of Covid 19 Vaccinations – including Booster
