We’re building a world-class team to create a new and exciting business that is rooted in strong foundations, led by our values and long-term commercial ambition.What makes this a great opportunity?The Payroll Analyst will report to the EMEA Payroll Manager and closely with and work closely with the Senior Payroll Analysts to provide a dedicated payroll service in partnership with outsourced payroll vendors; including the provision of information to outsourced providers. In addition to preparing monthly payroll transactions, the Payroll Analyst will be responsible for managing tax and social security liabilities payments, ensuring compliance with local reporting requirements, preparing & posting of the payroll accounting entries & reconciliation of the associated balance sheet accounts.To succeed in this role, you must be highly analytical, organized and methodical. You will have strong attention to detail and be able to build strong relationships with internal and external partners with employee experience front of mind. You will act with the utmost transparency, integrity, discretion and confidentiality. Ability to perform under pressure and challenging environment will be much appreciatedRole ResponsibilitiesAs a Team member of the EMEA Payroll team, they will:Provide help and support to the EMEA Payroll Manager in the timely and accurate processing of all EMEA payrollLiaise with external payroll vendors across EMEAPreparation of monthly payroll input submissionsAssisting with the timely and accurate payment of net salaries, payroll taxes and related benefitsInvolvement with annual returns and other statutory filings as they relate to payroll, payroll taxes and benefitsPreparation of monthly payroll journals including 13th or 14th month payments, vacation calculations, payments on account and severance, and be responsible of payroll balance sheet account reconciliations where applicableLiaise with EMEA Human Resources People Solutions & Total Rewards teams to obtain monthly updates to payroll in a timely mannerRecording & accrual of EMEA vacation.Payroll Vendor Invoice managementResponding in a timely manner to queries from the payroll vendors, as well as our internal stakeholders and employeesHelp ensure standardization globally.Participate in regional and global projects where required.Ensure effective relationships with the Finance & HR Directors and any other key stakeholders across multiple locations.Influence Payroll leadership with transformational agendas, fostering change and implementation of best practice.Support internal and external audits as needed and help maintain a solid control environment.QualificationsQualifications & ExperienceSolid UK and Ireland payroll experience gained in a multinational environmentIn depth knowledge of local laws and regulations impacting payroll across different European countries in particular Spain, Germany, France in addition the to UKExperience managing expatriate payroll matters (shadow payroll, tax equalizations, salary cross border recharges, etc)Prior hands-on experience on any of general ledger, receivables, payables, inventories, fixed assets, etc., will be considered an advantage.Fluent in English. Other European languages, such as German & Spanish will be a clear advantage.Job Specific Competencies &/or RequirementsStrong communication both verbal and writtenAbility to work with limited supervision and at pace in an ever-changing office environmentProblem-solving skills founded on basic data analysis and Payroll, financial & HR modelling.Strong Team playerMandatory SAP knowledge.
