Since the Company’s early beginnings supplying the local and UK market, they have steadily increased their customer base on a global scale. Worldwide, they now serve over 220 clients in 49 countries with a product range that includes over 50 professional products. They are currently recruiting for a Payroll Assistant to work on a full-time and permanent basis. Hybrid working is an option.Your new job as the Payroll Assistant:– Managing the end to end payroll process for circa 135 members of staff
– Checking the number of hours employees have worked
– Calculating wages and salaries
– Issuing employees’ wages by BACS
– Collaborating with the human resources department to maintain employee data
– Calculating pay raises, shift payments and overtime compensation
– Issuing tax forms and related documentation and assisting employees to complete them
– Deducting tax and insurance payments
– Resolving issues employees have with timesheets, payslips and other payroll matters
– Changing employee bank records when necessary to process payments accuratelyExperience and skills required to apply:– At least 2 years experience in a similar job i.e. Payroll Specialist, Payroll Administrator
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Attention to detail
– Organised and driven
– Capable of working to deadlines
– The ability to work under pressure
