About Us

Vasey RSL Care is a Victorian based not-for-profit provider of aged care services, accommodation and support to the ex-service community. We employ approximately 550 employees and run a fortnightly payroll service. We are currently using AIM and Time Target and will be moving to a new system called Dayforce over the next 3 months.

About the role

As we implement new systems, we are recruiting a Payroll Officer to join our friendly and supportive Finance team. This position will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of an efficient, timely and accurate payroll service for employees. This position will also support the Payroll Manager in all other payroll areas such as employee entitlements and new software system delivery.

This role is available now for an immediate start.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will be kind, customer-service focussed and thrive in a dynamic environment.

You will also have:

  • Previous experience working in healthcare/aged care setting in a similar role.
  • Previous experience with accounting/payroll software packages (AIM / EPICOR / Dayforce will be highly regarded)
  • Strong problem solving and numerical skills.
  • Proven effective and kind communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work co-operatively as part of a team and independently as required.
  • Ability and commitment to work according to the principals of continuous improvement, learning and professional development.
  • Ability to understand and comply with legislation, regulations and VRSLC procedures.
  • Willingness to undergo a National police check and provide proof of rights to work in Australia
