The Consulting Actuary will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, providing strategic advice, and contributing to the overall success of the pensions consultancy. You will work closely with clients to understand their objectives and develop tailored solutions that meet their needs while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for assigned clients
• Provide expert advice on pensions-related matters
• Attend client meetings and present findings and recommendations
• Identify and report new initiatives to support clients
• Review and ensure accuracy of client reports and advice
• Proactively advise clients on relevant pensions developments
• Apply actuarial techniques to assess probability and risk
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of team members’ work
• Assist in new business tenders and client pitches
• Develop relationships with introducers and potential clients
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities

Requirements

• Fellowship Actuarial Qualifications (FIA / FAA)
• Extensive experience in defined benefit pensions
• Project management experience
