We’re looking for a professional People and Culture Coordinator with relevant experience who wants to join our team on a maximum term Full-time basis, covering a parental leave for 12 months, working 38 hours per week based in Fitzroy.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the P&C Service Desk Team Leader, the P&C Coordinator is a diverse, and exciting role for a professional to move into, to gain experience in a large P&C team in the not for profit industry.

The role supports the P&C department and wider business by respond to and triage first level queries (eg. policy, conditions, grievances), coordinate all areas of employee life cycle activities, initiate process improvements and participate in key HR projects.

  • Coordinates all areas of the employee life cycle from onboarding of new staff, preparing employment contracts and other letters, processing changes to employment conditions, managing offboarding activities such as setting up exit surveys
  • Supports P&C service desk team leader by participating in projects such as HR audit, staff engagement survey, service recognition events
  • Provide HR advice and support on first level employee relations queries from leaders and staff by Interpreting awards, Enterprise agreements and policies in line with applicable guidelines and legislation
  • Identifies automation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Running reports and ensuring accuracy across the board in things such as payroll data, and compliance

Salary will be in the range of $73,264.65 – $78,559.97 per annum, based on skills and experience plus superannuation.

To be considered for the role and be successful in it, we’re looking for someone who has the following key skills and experiences:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources with demonstrated experience in a similar HR or broad administration role
  • Previous experience of working with an Applicant Tracking System like PageUp
  • Proven working knowledge of MS Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of the National Employment Standards and ability to comply with all legislative requirements 
  • Strong attention to detail, and an ability to maintain a high degree of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Highly-developed administration, computer skills and competency in Microsoft Program
