Great news, due to an internal movement, we are currently looking for a People and Performance Advisor to join our team on a 12-months contract.

As a People and Performance Advisor, you will provide expert support, advice, and guidance on workforce management and solutions.

Your focus will include employee and industrial relations, role development, remuneration, and policy and procedure development. You will also support various People Performance and Culture (PPC) programs, projects, and initiatives, including investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist managers with workforce compliance requirements and staff mandatory training completion.
  • Support the implementation of talent management processes, including performance planning and succession planning.
  • Provide support to managers in effective people management, employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Support in driving employee engagement and retention strategies.
  • Provide guidance on employment legislation, National Employment Standards, industrial awards, and workforce policies.
  • Guide managers through workplace investigations, complaints, and grievances.
  • Contribute to management reporting, organisational audits, and accreditation activities.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications and experience in HR or equivalent
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including Employment Law, understanding of the National award framework (especially the awards under which disability sector staff are employed), and National Employment Standards
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence effectively.
  • Understanding of and/or experience working within the NDIS practice framework is highly regarded.
