As a People Coordinator, you will work proactively with the People Partnering team, managers, and employees to ensure our organisation’s operational people requirements are met. You will provide a broad range of administrative support across the employee lifecycle and assist in delivering key people initiatives. You will also collaborate with and support the Talent Acquisition and Learning teams.

Reporting to the Head of People Partnering you will:

  • Collaborate with the People Partnering team to provide effective coordination and administrative support. This includes offering routine operational advice on interpreting and applying relevant employment legislation, EBAs, Modern Awards, and policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee lifecycle support for all functional areas, including handling the people assist email, responding to daily inquiries, acting as the first point of contact for people leaders on employee lifecycle matters, and maintaining organizational data.
  • Prepare and issue employment contracts and supporting documentation using appropriate templates, meeting service level agreements (SLAs), and coordinating work rights and credentialing processes. You will also manage offboarding processes.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition and Learning Support teams with related administrative tasks.

You are passionate, energetic and determined to make a difference to health and wellbeing outcomes for young people. The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:

  • Previous experience of working in an administrative role or customer service experience.
  • Demonstrated problem solving/analytics skills with the ability to deliver creative solutions.
  • Excellent organisational and coordination skills including the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • A learning mindset where you want to enhance and develop your skills via mentoring and on the job training.
  • Ability to adapt, be open to new ideas, accept changes in priorities, recognise the merits of different options and change direction quickly.
