About The Role

We are looking for an experienced, organised and confident People & Culture Advisor to join the team in this newly-created, part time role.

The P&C Advisor works in a supportive and close-knit team of P&C professionals. The role has been created to support managers lead their teams to improve the engagement, resilience and capability of the workforce. 

Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, this is an opportunity to enhance existing tools and processes to apply best practice human resource principles across the workforce lifecycle in a fast-paced and varied role in a dynamic environment. Responsible for providing expert advice, including employee relations, talent management, change management, learning and development, employee induction and engagement, this is a true generalist role that will work closely with key stakeholders across the organisation. 

Working with the P&C team, the P&C Advisor will support the development, delivery and implementation of projects and initiatives that achieve our strategic priorities.

About You

The successful candidate will be an experienced HR Advisor. Strong stakeholder management and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. As is your problem solving skills, initiative and desire to improve the workplace for our workforce. You will possess the following skills and expertise:

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive and productive relationships with employees and multiple stakeholders in a Human Resources context including effective coaching of managers. 
  • Extensive professional knowledge and experience of delivering contemporary HR solutions, policies and practices including intepretation of industrial agreements, e.g Modern Awards, NES; HR/ER case management, change management, diversity and inclusion.
  • A high degree of initiative demonstrated through autonomous approach to delivering results, as well as a highly effective team collaborator.  
  • Thorough understanding of people metrics and data, as well as ability to analyse and interpret data to inform decision making.
