About the roles:
RFDS Victoria are looking for two motivated, solutions-focused People & Culture Advisors. These newly created roles will ensure our people are supported to do their best work in an environment where they are engaged and set up for success. The role has a HR generalist focus and will support in the delivery of a diverse range of human resource and workforce funcitons, including providing sound advice, coaching and consultancy service to support managers and staff. Additionally, each role will have it’s own specialist portfolio, supporting either our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives, or Learning and Development programs within the organisation.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
- Support the implementation of the DEI Roadmap and the People Plan, contributing to the strategic objectives
- Deliver comprehensive, business-orientated people service to designated business units, fostering robust, trust-based relationships grounded in the company’s core values
- Provide considered HR generalist support, particularly when handling employee relations matters, including performance improvement, grievances, investigations, fit to work processes
- Provide a confidential and trusted channel for all employee advice, queries, concerns and issues and deliver best practice advice on a range of generalist HR matters to all employees
- Support client groups with cyclical P&C events including goal setting, achievement reviews, compensation review and employee surveys
- Contribute to the development and review of policies, resources and documents associated with the P&C team, and ensure their continued accuracy, quality and accessibility
Qualifications and experience required:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- 2-4 years’ experience in a generalist HR role
- Demonstrable understanding of working with Enterprise Agreements and Awards (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in coaching, developing and influencing others
