At Telenet we go for flatter structures, multidisciplinary teams and strong empowerment. You function as a real People Partner. For your assigned business (Telenet Commercial Residential) you will be responsible for the follow-up, advice, solutions and information regarding HR-related questions and problems during the entire employee life cycle, in close cooperation with managers.

Your tasks as People Partner:

• You work as a “go-to” person and credible liaison for executives on questions and issues that arise during the employee life cycle;
• You are a trusted and mature partner for the business on a variety of “people” challenges and take end-to-end responsibility for handling ongoing issues and feeding back to relevant stakeholders;
• You develop and implement advice, action plans and solutions (in line with applicable legislation and internal guidelines) so that managers feel supported and coached in the actions to be taken and employees feel heard;
• You help in optimizing processes, documents and information based on insights and feedback obtained from practice and share best practices with colleagues;
• You help follow up escalation files within your own people domain with the aim of offering reliable service to the employee;
• You are interlocutor for the trade unions in individual personnel files;
• You advise in a broad scope of HR procedures (internal mobility, proactive absence management, working from home, …) in order to create a framework for optimal operations.

Your profile as People Partner:

• You are a difference maker yourself: proactive, pragmatic, innovative, agile, business-focused and preferably humor is never really far away;
• You have a quick way of thinking and acting and are able to quickly understand and respond to business needs;
• You have obtained a bachelor/master degree and have minimal 5 years of relevant HR experience as a generalist;
• You know how to use your assertiveness in a diplomatic manner which allows you to have an active impact and influence others to become allies;
• You excel at taking initiative and strive for improvement;
• You highly value customer focus;
• You are a team player with strong organizational loyalty and sensitivity.
