Job Description:Job Purpose:We are seeking a creative, data-driven professional with a passion for social media, digital content, and communication. This exciting role involves supporting the development and activation of the social media and communications strategy for Charles Stanley Wealth Managers.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage content publishing across all social media channels, including maintaining Charles Stanley’s social media content calendar.
  • Publish website content (articles, videos, podcasts), ensuring optimisation and maintenance.
  • Support the marketing department with email communications and campaigns.
  • Provide monthly reports on social media and email performance, offering actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Oversee all of Charles Stanley’s social media channels, supporting the Content Marketing Manager in developing and activating the content marketing strategy.
  • Write and edit social copy, provide insights on content format and messaging, and manage content development and delivery with internal and external creative teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing, investors, subject matter experts, and external agencies to:
  • Generate content ideas and tell compelling stories.
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration with strategic partners and industry influencers.
  • Develop and execute email communications, including newsletters, marketing campaigns, and event invitations.
  • Publish website content, including insight articles, videos, and podcasts.
  • Track social media and email performance, providing monthly reports and data-driven insights for the sales, investment, and marketing teams.
  • Stay informed about key financial events and the daily news agenda to identify proactive opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends through social listening, engaging with social media comments, queries, and requests, and escalating concerns as needed.
  • Ensure all communications adhere to brand and regulatory standards.
  • Champion social media within Charles Stanley, supporting and educating colleagues on digital content creation and social media best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a social media or communications role, preferably within a regulated industry or agency.
  • Proven experience in project managing social media content programs.
  • Strong writing and editing skills for social media copy.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience managing social media programs, including content creation and calendar maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of tailoring content for platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Vimeo.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (ideally Hootsuite), content management systems, email marketing software, and Google Analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task, manage, and prioritise projects to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • Flexibility to participate in other marketing-related activities as needed, supporting the team to achieve successful outcomes.
