Performance Marketing ManagerOur marketing team are a small, tight-knit team that support all departments within the Aerial Direct group with their marketing goals. Based in our newly refurbished Fareham offices and reporting into our Marketing Director, this is a brand-new role responsible driving growth and achieving performance targets through strategic planning and execution of various digital marketing campaigns for all companies within the group. You’ll take charge of for PPC and marketing lead generation, managing current PPC agencies, and running in-house PPC campaigns

You’ll get involved in:
Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement performance marketing strategies to achieve business objectives for all companies within the group.
- Identify target audiences and create comprehensive marketing plans to reach them effectively.
PPC Campaign Management:
- Fully manage and optimise PPC campaigns across various platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, social media).
- Plan, create, execute, monitor PPC campaigns, conduct keyword research, ad copy creation, bid management, performance analysis.
- Oversee and coordinate with external PPC and lead generation agencies.
Campaign Management:
- Plan, create, execute, and optimise digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including search engines, social media, email, and display advertising for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day performance of paid marketing channels, ensuring campaigns are on track to meet KPIs and ROI targets.
- Coordinate with external paid advertising agencies and third-party vendors to ensure effective campaign execution and performance.
Lead Generation & Sales:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive lead generation and sales through digital marketing efforts.
- Monitor and optimise lead generation campaigns to ensure a steady pipeline of high-quality leads.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless handoff of leads and measure the impact of marketing efforts on sales outcomes.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyse campaign performance data to derive insights and make data-driven decisions.
- Generate regular reports on key metrics and performance trends to present to the Marketing Director and other stakeholders.
- Report on KPIs for all digital marketing campaigns and monitor them rigorously to ensure targets are met.
Budget Management:
- Working with the Marketing Director and Sales Director to manage and allocate marketing budgets efficiently to maximise ROI.
- Conduct A/B testing and other optimisation techniques to ensure the highest possible performance.
- Monitor spend and adjust strategies to stay within budget while achieving desired outcomes.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with creative teams to develop compelling ad creatives and content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and customer support, to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
- Liaise with group companies to understand their unique marketing needs and tailor strategies accordingly.
Technology & Tools:
- Utilise marketing technology and tools to track and optimise campaign performance (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, SEMrush, etc.).
Ideally, you’ll have experience of:
- Strong experience in performance marketing, with a proven track record of managing successful digital campaigns.
- PPC, SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and email marketing.
- Managing external agencies and third-party vendors.
- Experience in e-commerce or a fast-paced digital environment.
- A real passion for digital marketing with the experience to demonstrate success, as well as the desire to build and deliver an exciting strategy
- Forward thinking and strategic in nature, capable of seeing the bigger picture, as well as stay focused on details.
- Influential and persuasive to get messages across and defend a point of view.
- Resilient and comfortable with change, wiling to flex plans to meet shifting commercial priorities
- Hands on and supportive to a wider team
It would be great if you have:
- Familiarity with SQL or other data querying languages.
- Advanced certifications in digital marketing (e.g., Google AdWords, Facebook Blueprint).
