The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with a contract duration until December 31, 2025, due to parental leave substitution. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany. Working from home is possible at any time in coordination with your Team Lead, however we will meet occasionally at our headquarters in Bonn Bad Godesberg.

As Performance Marketing Manager in our Online Unit, you will be responsible for planning, implementing and optimizing our online marketing campaigns. Your focus will be on running campaigns across search, display and social media. Working in close collaboration with our Fundraising Unit, social media and external service providers, you will aim to ensure consistent communication across all channels to attract new donors and supporters for Welthungerhilfe.

Your responsibilities

  • Be responsible for planning, implementing and optimizing our performance marketing campaigns to increase traffic, conversion rates, ROAS and ROI.
  • Manage paid media campaigns on platforms such as Google, Bing, META and other social networks.
  • Identify new opportunities for future marketing activities, e.g. based on data such as keyword search volume, Google Trends or similar, and derive optimization potential accordingly.
  • Take responsibility for the creation of ads and promotional material.
  • Manage service providers in the areas of SEM and paid social.
  • Take on deputy tasks in the areas of web analysis/tracking and data protection.

Your profile

  • A university/college degree or training in a relevant field
  • Relevant professional experience in performance marketing
  • Sound experience in using advertising tools, especially Google Ads and Facebook Business Manager
  • Ideally experience in working with PowerBI and/or Econda
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to skillfully analyze data and derive recommendations for action accordingly
  • Data-driven and results-oriented way of working combined with a strong hands-on mentality
  • Willingness to respond immediately to emergency assistance outside normal working hours
  • Excellent spoken and written German and English language skills
