We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal hospital in Guildford, Surrey for a Permanent Medical Veterinary Nurse to join their oncology team.The practice is looking for an empathetic and ambitious RVN who has good experience working in a small animal practice or hospital. The role will involve providing gold standard care, working closely with the clinical team and assisting in the delivery of treatments, diagnostics and client support. You must have excellent proactivity, attention to detail and organisational skills.The role is full time for 40 hours per week over 4 days, along with minimal weekends, on-call and bank holidays on a rota basis shared between the team.Benefits of the role:The practice provides a high standard of clinical care and pride themselves on having staff members who stand apart from the rest and have a real passion and vision for how they work. • You must have an interest in Medical nursing and oncology

• You will have a good amount of small animal nursing experience in all aspects of nursing

• You will be forward thinking, motivated, passionate with a genuine interest in animal welfare
• You must be motivated and passionate about your work and share this and promote this ethos with other members of staff
• You will enjoy working as part of a team
• You will have a genuine passion for animal welfare

• You will have excellent communication and customer interfacing skills

Package:

• Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
