We are currently looking for Personal Care Workers in the Northern: Doreen, Coburg/Fawkner and surrounding areas:

We’re now looking for Personal Care Workers to join our team and help provide services to more than 105,000 Australians each year. Casual roles are available with a minimum of 20 hours per week between 9.00am and 3.00pm.

In this role you’ll support clients with nutrition, medication assistance, and personal care. You’ll also help them participate in social activities like shopping or visiting friends that assist them to stay active and connected with their community.

About you

To apply for this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Home and Community) or equivalent
  • Community care experience (or relevant industry experience)
  • Access to a registered vehicle, suitable for work purposes
  • A current Australian driver’s license
  • Be physically able to fulfil the role.

Based on Silverchain policy and government directions you will need to provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccination including booster requirements, or evidence of a medical exemption, as well as a national police clearance and medical appraisal, to commence employment with Silverchain.
