We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.The shift pattern is 37.5 hours per week, worked over 5/7 days. Normal hours are Monday to Friday 08:45-17:00 (45 minute lunch 13:00-13:45).Pharmacy and Prescribing Support Unit (PPSU)PREPARATIVE SERVICES NewPHARMACY TECHNICIAN Band 4Post 1.0 WTEThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacy technician to work within the dispensary and aseptic unit. You will be based at the where you will provide technical support to the existing preparative services team. You will also be involved in rotating through other units in preparative services.Your key duties will include managing the day to day workload of the unit, the preparation of chemotherapy, intrathecals, clinical trials, dispensing of prescriptions and undertaking MmyMeds service for 2 in patient wards.A pharmacy technician qualification and previous aseptic experience is desirable, as well as good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
