Overview
Jhpiego Kenya is at an exciting opportunity to reimagine and revitalize the office working areas in Kenya. The organization is embarking on a journey of transformation and is seeking a Photographer to work as a consultant with the communications team to bring its brand identity to life within its physical workspace in Nairobi – Kenya. This scope of work encompasses a comprehensive rebranding initiative aimed at creating a dynamic and inspiring environment that reflects the organization’s mission, values, and commitment to making a positive impact on society.
The key deliverables will include:
- Pictures that will be used on the office walls and used in graphic design
- Captioned photos from the assignment to a folder either through WeTransfer, Dropbox or Google Drive to the Jhpiego communication manager
- Photos that have different visual perspectives: close-ups, established and medium shots
- Digital originals should be shot at the highest resolution that the camera permits
- Photos that are technically good with the correct exposure, framing, focusing, and composition
The design work will be for two wings of an office with about ten (10) separate offices and about five (5) commons spaces (meeting rooms and reception). The is a consultancy role and the assignment will take a maximum of ten working days.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Communications Team and Graphic Designer to understand the photography needed for the office branding
- Travel to external locations to photograph pictures that represent Jhpiego Kenya’s mission and vision as directed by the Communications Manager
- Collaborate with the team to select and edit photos for use in promotional materials, walls and editorial material
- Maintain a consistent visual style and adhere to brand guidelines in photography projects
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in photography of similar projects/activities.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the technical requirements of the work and the production capabilities, what equipment they have for taking quality images outdoors and indoors, and hardware and software to edit images.
- Adhere to confidentiality; NEVER share pictures of the community or healthcare workers filmed or photographed unless with written permission from Jhpiego Communications team
