Better Health Network (BHN) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health team within the Primary and Aged Care program.
You will play a crucial role in providing flexible and responsive services to meet clients’ needs, particularly within supported residential services (SRS) across the City of Port Phillip, Stoninngton, and Glen Eira.
Our team thrives on collaboration and commitment to holistic health, ensuring comprehensive care for clients with complex psychosocial needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive individual Physiotherapy assessment and intervention.
- Identify residents needing falls risk screening and prescribe gait aids.
- Develop and deliver individual and group exercise programs.
- Promote falls prevention strategies for clients and SRS proprietors.
- Advocate for low-income clients to access community physical activity programs.
Requirements and Attributes
- Degree or diploma in Physiotherapy.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
- Minimum of two years post-graduate Physiotherapy experience.
- Experience working with clients with complex psychosocial needs and mental illness.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
