The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated paediatric clinician to join our rapidly growing Child & Family Services Team. The applicant will demonstrate a passion for working within a multi and transdisciplinary supportive team environment in the wonderful world of paediatrics. AccessHC has an excellent reputation for its highly experienced and dynamic teams of allied health professionals who deliver services to pre-school and school aged children and their families within the communities in the Eastern suburbs.

Our experienced Physiotherapists mentor and provide one on one supervision plus frequent supervision using a buddy system and an abundance of other professional opportunities that support a rich learning environment.
What you will be doing
The successful applicant will predominantly work with children who are funded under a mix of NDIS, and public state and other federal health funding.
- Operate a paediatric physiotherapy service within multi and transdisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of centre based and outreach services to all eligible clients
- Assess, plan and provide interventions for a caseload of pre-school and school aged children
- Initiate, plan, implement and evaluate group therapy programs for children as appropriate
- Participate in client care meetings and department meetings for the purposes of team care planning, case conferencing and client review
- In collaboration with other AccessHC Child & Family service staff and management, review the content of individual & group programs and make service changes based on the outcome of these reviews
What you will bring
Key Criteria:
- Demonstrate knowledge of typical and atypical childhood development in order to understand the child’s developmental delay or disability.
- Demonstrate skills in physiotherapy assessment and intervention, based on current evidenced-based practice to ensure positive outcomes for the child and family.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience in planning and delivering group therapy programs
- A passion to deliver an exceptional customer service engagement with all customer
