Pile Design Engineer Position Remuneration

Pile Design Engineer Position Overview

• Responsible for all preparation of pile designs for tendering and contracts.
• Contract submissions of pile designs would include production of schedule and calculation pack.
• Able to coordinate and manage between inhouse design and external where this is utilised from time to time.
• Oversea other designers (estimator designers predominately; where design isn’t necessarily their primary job role).
• Review of tender drawings, specifications and ground conditions.
• Production of efficient designs for CFA, SFA, Rotary and Retaining walls and providing cost effective solutions.
• Be confident to think outside the box and providing alternative solutions to clients for VE.
• Represent the company in meetings with clients.
• Assist with, or take the lead with closing out of design related Non-Conformances (NCR’s) or NCR which require design review as and when.
• Have the ability to coordinate with internal team and external client to overcome site issues.

Pile Design Engineer Position Requirements

• Must have minimum 5 years’ proven experience in piling
• Knowledge of relevant British standards & Eurocodes
• A working knowledge of industry software
• Experience of developing foundation design, including pile design.
• A full clean driving licence
