1. Project Background

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is looking for motivated and professional individual who will be responsible for overseeing data platform support to ensure they align with organization strategy and business goals, including establishing standardized data platform support methodologies, facilitating communication and collaboration among various departments, and fostering a culture of innovation by identifying emerging trends and exploring new opportunities to enhance data-driven operations and unlock the values from the data assets within the organization.

2. Objectives of the Assignment

AIIB is looking for a motivated and experienced data platform support who will be responsible for overseeing data platform support to ensure they align with organization strategy and business goals, including establishing standardized data platform support methodologies, facilitating communication and collaboration among various departments, and fostering a culture of innovation by identifying emerging trends and exploring new opportunities to enhance data-driven operations and unlock the values from the data assets within the organization.

3. Scope of Services

• Data Standardization Support: Create and maintain uniform internal procedures and templates to support data platform operations. Facilitate communication across departments to ensure the adoption of standardized methodologies, fostering effective collaboration.
• Data Platform Operation Support: Offer operational support for data platform activities. This includes monitoring and reporting on project status, risks, and challenges, ensuring prompt resolution and escalation. Generate comprehensive reports for management and stakeholders.
• Data Platform Vendor Management: Manage relationships with data platform vendors, assessing their performance and ensuring alignment with project goals. Provide recommendations for enhancement, managing the delivery of services effectively.
• Analytics Support: Collaborate in designing the system data model and drafting the indicators manual. Coordinate the collection of data requirements, specifying details such as data elements, calculation protocols, update frequency, and sources.

4. Consultancy Output / Deliverables

• Developing and maintaining internal procedures and templates to ensure data platform efficiency. This involves facilitating cross-departmental communication and collaboration to achieve alignment with standardized data platform methodologies.
• Developing and maintaining frequent data platform report. This encompasses project status, risks, and challenges, ensuring timely resolution and escalation as needed.
• Evaluating vendor service quality to ensure effective service delivery, alignment with project objectives and standards, and continuous improvement. This includes assessing vendor performance and providing constructive feedback for enhancement.
• Contributing to the development of the system data model by delivering specific data requirements, including data elements, calculation protocols, update frequency, and data sources.

Qualification Requirement

Strong Collaborative Abilities and Cross-Functional Project Management
• Proven ability to build working relationships with diverse stakeholders and effectively engage them in digital practices
• Demonstrated experience in leading cross-departmental projects and independently facilitating communication
• Preferred experience in data-related practices and methodologies
Comprehensive and Insightful Reporting
• Skilled at generating comprehensive and insightful reporting materials for committees and management-level
Data Platform Implementation Expertise
• Solid knowledge of data platform implementation support, with a demonstrable record of implementation project experience
Relevant Industry Experience (Preferred)
• Previous experience in the financial services, loan management, and/or investment management industries is considered a plus
Excellent Communication Skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is a must as the working language of AIIB
Educational Qualifications
• Master’s degree from a reputable university in a relevant field (e.g., information technology, business management, data management)
• Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in the mentioned fields from a reputable university, along with relevant Certifications, in lieu of a Master’s degree
